Thursday and Friday

First of all, a big thank you to everyone who sent me the names of the point and shoot digital cameras you love. I took all your information and also went to many online review websites and really researched this. My findings led me to the Canon ELPH SD 750. I found most places here in town had it for $299.00 BUT Circuit City had a $75.00 rebate on it until this Saturday. That brought it down to $224.00 which was more in my range. The Circuit City I was at ran out so they looked up a few other of their nearby stores but they were sold out too. Finally, they found 1 camera that was located about 15 minutes from where Carlos was. I called the store and asked them to put a hold on it for me. Then I called Carlos and asked him to run over and pick it up.

I am going to try this for a few days and see how I like it. I just started using it today. It has 7.1 MP and a huge 3 inch lcd screen. The one downside to this camera is that there is no view finder but what I have read in hundreds of reviews . . they say you won't miss it because the LCD screen is very bright and big. Out of 300 reviews I read . .. it got very high markings 99.9% of the time. It is lacking image stabilization but that would of cost me another $100.00 and I have a pretty still hand.
I took a couple pictures one outside and the other one inside of my eyes closed so I could see how the pictures looked for when I do my Bare Escentual pictures.

They both came out pretty clear and crisp. Actually, the ones of my eyes reallly came out way better than my old Sony Cybershot. I am going to mess around with it again tomorrow. I will let you know if I decide to keep it.

Last night Ken and Lisa picked me up and then we headed to the gym. Then it was home for a nice hot shower and then it was time to read!

Today was picture day at all the schools. I signed up to volunteer at her school to help with the pictures. When I arrived they had so much help they didn't need me. I then headed to Sierra' class and I worked in her class all day.

After dinner I headed to the gym by myself. My partner in crime had praise and worship practice so I had to go alone. I worked out a good hour and then headed home.

Tonight from 9-11 we watched Jordan on the live webstream. He was playing keyboard for that prayer watch. It was so cool to see him play and to see it live. It's now about time for me to get in some reading so I will signoff for now.

I hope your new camera works well for you. It takes such a long time to find what you want and then get used to using it.

Hey..
Looks good. Is that more realistic? Cause it's not as sparkly looking.
