American Idol Finals - David vs David

Tonight the whole gang plus a few carloads more came over to watch the American Idol finals.

David A.We all gathered in the family room to watch the big event unfold.I had DVR'd it so we could watch it with no commercials.Not everyone was paying attention. After American Idol the guys played poker. Carlos and I went upstairs to watch the Dancing With The Stars Finale and then we went to bed. We have no idea how long everyone stayed or stayed up at our house.

From the beach to the pool

After we packed up things at the beach we went to our little favorite Mexican Restaurant right across from the beach. It's amazing how hungry you get after being outside in the sun all day. We then headed home and everyone couldn't wait to jump in the pool. We were all sandy and sticky from the beach so a dip in the pool hit the spot. Chelsea was the last to jump in.But she finally did.
Then they all tried to dunk Steven.

Tuesday at the beach

Today the IHOP students and staff decided to head to the beach. Carlos and I and Ken and Lisa joined them on the outing. Carlos is always our official beach umbrella installer.We all started setting up our spots.Eddie James and his team came on out too. Lisa and I just adore Terri. She is on staff at IHOP's FMA. She is an amazing woman, musician, singer, teacher and so much more. We had a great time getting to know her.
She is also quite the surfer :-) Love ya Terri!
