Friday and Another Kingsbury book finished

Friday was pretty quiet. I did go workout in the morning. I normally workout at night but I really like getting it done earlier. I am going to start working out in the morning some of the time to see how it works into my day. The rest of the day I stayed home and I actually read until the kids came home from school. I totally got lost in the book FAME. It is the first in the Firstborn series. This next series incorporates the family from the REDEMPTION series but also brings in new characters. Lisa will be happy because I am handing the book over to her so she can continue!

Our leaders had church a retreat Friday night and Saturday. Carlos, Lisa and Ken all headed out Friday evening. I was going to go but had to take Landon and Sierra with me but they asked that no kids attend so I stayed home with the kids. I didn't want to show up with them and then have everyone ask why I was bringing my kiddies and they couldn't. I found out our youth pastor's wife couldn't make it either because she had noone to watch her kids too. So, I feel much better I wasn't the only one not attending! Alexia went to an all night prayer meeting at the prayer house and Taylor stayed the night at a friends house.

Landon, Sierra and I were going to go out to eat and to a movie but we decided cookies and hanging out at the house sounded better. So, I whipped up some chocolate chip cookies and we enjoyed the evening together.

Saturday I think we are going to hit the stores, a movie and dinner out. We will see how it goes. Carlos, Ken and Lisa won't be home until around 9 or 10 tonight.
