Quiet Thursday
Today I spent most of the day at home. I had a goal and that was to put 8 items on ebay. I have had a small pile of stuff that has been sitting in my room since December that was just waiting to be auctioned. So, I went and gathered everything . .. took pictures . .. and started inputing the information. For some reason this virutally took hours. My computer decided to be so slow today so it took me longer than normal. Finally around 3:00 I finished. Lisa called me and told me she was on her way to her inlaws and she wanted me to go with her to the house to look at some paint colors for the girls room. She picked me up . . went to the house . . saw that the driveway had been pour . . the painters were there finishing up their touchups. The house is now all ready for their next week move in - except for two appliances that are due in the first of next week. She wants to paint the Ava and Kaitlyn's rooms before they move in. On the way home we decided to get some exercise and walk. A nice cold front moved in last night so we bundled up and went for a 45 minute walk. After the walk I made dinner and got the kitchen cleaned up right away because our neighbor's who we are buying the land from were coming over to pick up the contract. They came over around 7:30 and stayed till about 9:00 . . .we had a great chat with them and it was so nice to visit with them which we hardly ever have a chance to do. I am going to misss them both.
Each day that I post on the blog I always like to include a picture. When I read other blogs the ones that keep my interest always have a picture. I guess you would say I am a visual learner /reader:-) Well, I would of had a picture today but I didn't have my camera when I saw my neighbor's little Shetland Pony lying down in a big pile of hay. I am sure she was trying to stay warm. So, because I am pictureless I am including a picture of our towns geese. We have a beautiful park that is right on the lake. These two geese are normally very nice to everyone but they have been known to chase people. The day I took this picture the geese kept to themselves but you definitly needed to keep an eye on them so they don't sneak up on you.

Good job finding at least one picture for the blog! Ha! I'm with you - I like to have at least one picture per post. Dh writes more and uses pictures less, I'm the other way around. Hooray for Lisa's house being almost ready!
I guess I was desparate . . that is why the geese are there LOL but like you said I LOVE having pictures with the words!
My blog is MOSTLY pictures... I didn't realize I was so visual (LOL) until a few years ago. I'm a little slow blogging these days because I do like to include so many pics... they get piled up on my hard drive waiting to be sorted and fixed, but I think I'll have time to do some today!
I have had such little time to check other blogs. I usually set one day a week to go through them all.
