Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!

We have a tradition in our family that we make chocolate chip cookies once a week. I have made them so many times that I now have the recipe memorized :-) Tonight was the night for this week. Sierra asked to be "the baker" . Here is Sierra with the chocolate chips!!!
My camera for some reason is making all these pictures blurry. I think I am going to ask for a new camera for Christmas. Here she is with the ingredients - Let the mixing begin :-)

"Mom, these chocolate chips look soooooooooo good! Just one bite?"

I love using my pampered chef stones to bake cookies on as well as baking my bread in their loaf pan stone. Gotta LOVE those stones!
The finished product!!!!

"Ohhhhhhh! Thanks mom!"

We LOVE making cookies around here. Of course we are tweaking with new ingredients, like, ww flour, coconut oil, etc.

BTW we are coming to DW in a couple of weeks (I have a conference on the property). Since I am paying for it out of my commission and pocket, we need to be frugal. We will probably be there from Fri-27-Nov 5th. Is it better to stay in Celebration or Kissimmee? I don't know if we will get to Seaworld or not, but we will be definately at Disney. I also have friends I need to visit in Lake Wales, so we will be there a day or so too.

Thanks for the advice,
Beth from SHS (Southern Belle)

Btw we are looking at rentals instead of hotels near there. That is why I am asking.

Thanks again

I think Kissimmee is going to be less expensive. Celebration is on the high end side. Kissimmee is nice to but I think you will find better "deals" there.
Have a great time!!!!!!

Cindy,
Brownies sound good too. I also want to try a pumpkin bar recipe that I have had for awhile. I might get to those next week.

Please post any good pumpkin bar recipes you have....I plan to make some pumpkin things IF I can figure out how to cook the pumpkin (I've always just used a can) all my cookbooks say "15 oz CAN of pumpkin". :::snort:::

We do cookies a lot now that I've adjusted the recipe for our new lifestyle....but sometimes I just miss having those ooey gooey cookies with white flour and white sugar. LOL

I've been playing with a "blondie" recipe...these days since I got a killer "whole wheat" brownie recipe down. LOL Who knew "healthy" could taste so good? Or maybe that should read who knew you could turn healthy back into junk food? LOL

De'Etta,

I need to hunt around for that recipe. As soon as I do I will post it. It is yummy!

I wish I had the tenacity that you do when it comes to preparing healthy whole foods for your family. I am very stuck in my ways and do not like much change. We do for the most part eat pretty healthy. We just can't seem to give up the ooey gooey fun things. We have cut out most red meat and eat mainly chicken, fish and turkey but it's not organic. Oh well, one step at a time :-)
