Remnant And Our Weekly Date Night.
Tonight we all headed to the church around 5:30 to get ready for youth group tonight . . Jordan and the muscians and singers had to be their to practice and set up. After we dropped off the group we headed to the House of Prayer for a little bit then Carlos surprised me and took me out to dinner before the 7:30 REMNANT service. After dinner we went back to the youth group for praise and worship.
Austin and Candice sang along with Joanne.
Jordan was on the keyboard and sang and Adam played the guitar.
The whole band sounded awesome!
The place was packed out tonight with tons of young people.
You could feel God's presence!
PG and Boly do an awesome job each week. We are blessed to have them partnering with us in ministry! What a HUGE blessing they are. After praise and worship I went out in the foyer and ran into Heather and Melissa. Heather is the leader for the Central Florida Bound 4 Life chapter and Melissa is the leader for the Central Florida Pure Life Revolution Chapter. They are both doing mighty works for these two Justice Prayer Movements.
Then it was time for Alexia and the dance team to do their dance.
She is explaining the dance is about the end times.
They did the dance to a Misty Edwards song and it was awesome. Here are the words to the song
(First part spoken)
He’s coming. Awake Awake O sleeper (x2)
He’s coming. He’s alive. Jesus of Nazareth. The Son of David. The slain lamb. He was born to be a king.
He’s alive. The Jewish Man. He’s alive. He’s alive. Prepare the way. People get ready. People get ready. Surely He is not a man that He should lie. He said He would come again and He will come again. People get ready. People get ready. People get ready.
Some said a carpenter. Some said a teacher. Some said a prophet. They said He’s a fraud. He’s God, but He’s fully a man and He was born to be a king. He was silent. Like a lamb to the slaughter He was silent. In His patience He endured. But I know the end of the story and we’re only at the beginning. He’s coming. He’s alive. He’s alive. Look upon the one you’ve pierced. Look upon the One we’ve pierced. Who is this king of glory? Who is this king of glory? Jesus. The Messiah. The root and the offspring of David.
(Sung) I can hear the rhythm of the Lion of the tribe of Judah.
(spoken) He’s alive. The same way He ascended, He will descend again.
(sung) He’s doing a new thing. Are you ready, are you ready for this?
I can hear the rhythm of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. (x?)
He’s doing a new thing. So we’re singing a new song. (x?)He’s not a baby in a manger anymore. He’s not a broken man on the cross. He didn’t stay in the grave, and He’s not staying in Heaven forever. (x2)
He’s alive. (x15)
People get ready. Jesus is coming. (x4)
We join in the song of the ages. It’s a new song (x3)
We say to the One who was slain, You have proven Your love. You have shown us, shown us that You can be trusted to
Take the scroll and open, and open it’s seals
We trust You Jesus and we want You to come back
So take the scroll and open the seals (x2)
I can hear the rhythm of the Lion of the tribe of Judah (x5)
He’s doing a new thing. So we’re singing a new song. (x4)
He’s not a baby in the manger anymore. He’s not a broken man on the cross. He didn’t stay in the grave, and He’s not staying in Heaven forever. (x2)
He’s alive. (x?)
People get ready. Jesus is coming. (x4)
People walking around with their fingers in their ears singing da,da,da,da,dum I don’t want to hear the sound of the coming King. (x2)
I have held my peace for a long, long, long, long, long time and in My silence you thought I was all together like you.
And in your heart you were settled in complancy. You said He won’t even respond. You said He’s not interested. You said He’s dead and gone. But I’ve been silent for such a long, long time.
But I’m about to gasp, to pant, to cry out, to cry out , to cry out.. to shout
Cause once again I’m gonna shake everything that can be shaken
Once again I’m gonna brake everything that can be broken (x2)
Are you ready, are you ready for this? (x6)
People get ready. Jesus is coming. (x4)
He’s coming. (x?)
Carlos is going to have them do it again on Sunday for the church.
I wish I would of taken a video tonight but I will on Sunday.
It gave everyone chills.
People get ready . . . Jesus is coming! After the dance my wonderful husband surprised me again and took me to Starbucks while the rest of the service finished.
I love our weekly time alone . . .it gives us a chance to talk and catch up on everything that happened throughout the week. We both couldn't stop talking about how fantastic it has been to have these incredible on fire young adults staying with us. They have all become like family and we love them all very much. We are going to miss all the singing that they did each night at the house before we all went to bed. I love it that they want to spend their time worshipping God . . how awesome this week has been. The cool thing is that in May they are all coming back for a week but this time they are bringing another 60 of their fellow students with them. The 70 students will be ministering at our House of Prayer, the church and probably Remnant again. These 10 have claimed our house for that next trip so we need to find 6 more families to host the other 60 students. That week is going to be AMAZING too!
Tonight when everyone got home there were many teary eyes and sad faces . . . no one wants to leave tomorrow. After Carlos and I had got in bed and were watching TV . . .one by one they started to come in. At one time we had about 5 young adults and us sitting on our bed just chatting about the whole week and the future. They all want to stay and we sure wish they could. Austin and Helen ended up chatting with us until 3:30 in the morning. We didn't mind . . we loved hearing what the Lord was doing in their lives and what they feel the future might hold. As the last light went out tonight there was a sadness . . . we are going to miss everyone so much.
You all always have a place to stay anytime you make it down here. We love you guys and we are going to miss you. Keep pressing on with what the Lord has for you. You are all going to do incredible things for the Kingdom!

There is nothing that defines bittersweet as well as sending your children off on a path you know they are chosen to be on by GOD - and yet missing them at the same time. Praying for you in this upcoming week...and rejoicing at the paths that God has led Jordan too....and soon Alexia.
