The Five Amigo's

As baby Sophia's gets close to making her arrival. I thought it was time for an update with "my other kids" :-) Here are a few random pictures from the last few weeks.

Lisa and I get the kids together to play a few days a week. We take turns hanging out at my house and then on another day hers. She has been keeping the kids bikes at our house because there is more places the kids can ride. Here is Sierra, Kaitlyn, Christian and Ava going on a bike ride. They are all growing up so fast.

Little Ava is following in her mother's footsteps! Here she is in singing debut! :-)Actually we were at our friends birthday party that had this stage all set up for the kids to dance and to sing!

This past Sunday Carlos and the whole church sang Happy Birthday to Sierra. She loves her daddy!

Christian's Preschool Christmas Program

It was so sweet to hear them sing all their Christmas songs.

I was surprised how many songs they performed.

Ava goes to the same preschool so after the program I went with Lisa to pick her up from her class. Here she is saying goodbye to her teacher.

We then went to a small reception area where they served refreshments.

Jeff and Marcella's Wedding Rehearsal

This past Friday was the wedding rehearsal for our friends Jeff and Marcella. The wedding was going to be at Marcella's parents home who live on 20 acres out in the country. Carlos was going to be marrying them, Kaitlyn was the flower girl and Christian the ring bearer. Ken, Ava and I came along too because they invited us all to the rehearsal dinner.

When we got out of the car Ava went right to the fence.

She had spotted some wild boar which were headed her way.She didn't look to happy about that :-)

"Ebby - get me out of here!"

They had an area all set up in their front yard.

It was a beautiful setting. I am sure everyone was praying for good weather to happen the next day.

While they were all working on the rehearsal, Ava and I took a walk around their property.

We came across their tractor which Ava loved.

After the rehearsal we all headed to the restaurant for a wonderful meal! It was a great end to a perfect day!

Our Sweet Ava is "2" today!

Two years ago today our sweet Ava Young was born. I was blessed to have been in all three of Lisa (my best friends) births. Ava was the last one but sweet Sophia is on her way in March 09.She was so excited to blow out her candles."Hey guys - those are my candles!!!!"
