Awesome Day At The Beach

Today we let our kids play hooky from school because we were all heading to the beach for the day. I have to admit it was a little cool but everyone was so excited to be there and they didn't let a little cool weather ruin our day.

Carlos just loves to read and study on the beach.I actually brought my Bible and the two study books I am reading and was able to get all my reading done for the day too.Landon couldn't wait to get into the water.Sierra was ready to build a sandcastle.The beach was a nice change of pace for everyone. It seems like we have been going non-stop since last week. I think we all enjoyed the rest and relaxation.

Edwin, Heather, Landon and Sierra got busy and made a sandcastle. It turned out so cool!

Then Sierra decided it was time for the water.She and Heather ventured in together. Then Edwin and Landon decided to go too.

Then Helen, Jessica and Candice decided to make a sandcastle too.
Jordan was their water boy . . .. Oh brother . . . .:-)Austin then tried to teach Helen how to do a cart wheel.

Then Austin decides to jump over Jordan.
Oops . . . . .Jordan ducked down to far and Austin wiped out. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh that hurt!As you can see . . .our son is just full of compassion for his very good friend.
He ended up being ok . . .just a little sore and scraped up. We stayed at the beach from 10:30 till 3:00 and then headed home. Tonight they are playing praise and worship for our youth tonight and Alexia and the dance team are going to do a dance that they have been practicing for awhile.
