My friend Christina leads a two hour set every Tuesday in our prayer room. Last week she asked Alexia do sing on her team
That night Alexia and I subbed as singers on Natalies team. Once again Lexi did a great job. 
There are hundreds of Houses of Prayer all over the US and around the world. I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Love who is from the One Thing House of Prayer in the Brandon/Tampa area. She came to OHOP last week so she could take a tour of OHOP and to network with us. It was great meeting her!

Why Prayer As Worship
King David made that truth a living reality when he launched a national movement of singing and instrumentation that helped thrust Israel into her Divine destiny. He paid 4,000 full-time musicians and hundreds of prophetic singers to gaze day and night upon God as they sang the prayers of Zion. This was their primary occupation in life. They were employed in the Tabernacle of David, which combined worship with intercession that never ceased as it continued 24/7.
Many Christians love music, yet they do not have a revelation of the power of anointed music and worship. Onething has a vision to see music restored to the place of glory God intended for it. We must never allow prayer and worship to be reduced to form and function. God intended it to be the vehicle that transports us into the His glory.
Jeremiah 24:7 I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord. They will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with all their heart.

2. Calling. An aim or task that someone believes it is his or her duty to carry out or to which he or she attaches special importance and denoted special care.

Vision:

Our Children's Equipping Center and the West Orange Food Pantry came together to bring to the community a Back To School Event called The Safe Side. We had 150 kids come to our missions base this past Saturday.
Joleen is the Director of our Children's Equipping Center and Ken is the Food Pantry together. These two arteries of our missions base came together to bring this to past.
We got everyone registered and seated inside. We then first showed this movie called "The Safe Side". I recommend this DVD highly. It teaches our children how to stay safe without scaring them.
We were nicely surprised at all the families that came out for this.
We then had a dad, mom and their 8 year old daughter that gave self-defense examples to the kids.
They showed us different examples of self defense that each chidl could use if they ever needed to.
They even pulled out a child from the audience to let him try it so the kids could see how easy it was to learn each exercise.
Then there was a question and answer session.
We then gave away 150 brand new backpacks to each child.
Each bag was jam packed with brand new school supplies.
We also had donated brand new tennis shoes . . so many of the kids received brand new shoes.
The police department came and finger printed the children. 
What a great day it was!
Sunday morning was our last service with Cory, Anna, David and Jordan before they had to head home to Kansas City. They all lead worship for the service again and then Carlos brought forth the Word.
After he preached he minstered to the people. Our new friends from Ft. Myers who came out for the Awaken The Bride service on Friday stayed for today's service. Carlos ended up having a word for them.
Then PG, one of our associate pastors had a word for them.
Then Anna let Carlos know that she had a word for them too.
She had a powerful word for both of them.
What an amazing prophetic woman! I loved getting to know her this trip. She has such a sweet humble spirit!
Many people were ministered to that morning including our friends Brenda and John.
It was great to see God move so greatly in the people.
At the very end of the service Carlos spoke a word over Cory and Anna!
We didn't want them all to leave but they had to catch a flight out at 3 pm. Our kids just adored Cory and Anna. Thanks for being so sweet to our kids!

One thing we are starting on these Awaken The Bride weekends is a Saturday morning roundtable discussion. We invite worship leaders, singers and musicians from all over Florida to come and join us. During these two hours they are able to ask the special guests questions about leading worship, music etc.
What a great opportunity this was for all of us.
We had a group of about 20 that were in attendance.
They took their time and answered all of our questions.
Cory and Anna shared so many wonderful things about leading and singing in a prayer watch.
I know we all left that meeting with so much great information. 
We also had a few out of towners too.

This group came in from Leesburg.

After the meeting we went out for Mexican. Our friend Kevin lives on a lake so he had Cory, Anna, David and Jordan come over to his house so they could go fishing . . . which is one of Cory's favorite pasttimes.
We are all now home resting and of course watching the New York Yankees play the Boston Red Sox. I am trying to sleep because I have to be at the Hollywood Prayer Watch tonight from 10 pm to midnight. I hope I can sleep for at least an hour. :-)
One thing we love about Cory and Anna is their joy. You can see it all over their faces when they minister.
Jordan played the keys, David was the drummer (I totally forgot to take a picture of him)
And Edwin and Matt were on the base and electric guitars.
We had a great crowd for our first ATB service.
We had people come from all over Florida.
Cory is one of the worship leaders at IHOP. You can see him lead live prayer sets on the IHOP webstream every week.
"In Your Presence . . .it's where I belong" . . that's one of my favorite songs that they wrote.
Cory and Anna flow so good together.
We had visitors from Jacksonville, Ft Myers, Leesburg, St Augustine and many more cities.
The Lord's presence could be felt so richly.

Toward the end of worship Carlos came up and then did some intercession.
It was intense!
We prayed for Central Florida and for unity among all the ministries and churches in the area.
During the offering Jordan sang one of his songs called Tender Mercies.

It was a great service and look forward to next month ATB service with Teri Terry from IHOP.
