What is this? Is it the Washington Monument? No, it's the Saint Louis Arch Today we were heading back home and we went through Saint Louis. The Saint Louis Arch and The Saint Louis Cardinals Stadium
Your pics of St. Louis bring back great memories! Our family went there on vacation a few years back....We were all too chicken to go up into the arch! Scared of heights!
We were able to go in the arch a few years ago. My son was so excited, but when he got to the top he was terrified. He finally did look out if Daddy promised to hold him tight.
The museum underneath is worthwhile. I don't remember everything, but I would like to go back now that my son is older.
Ah yes, my old stomping grounds. I grew up in Belleville, IL (you went right past if you were on 64 headed east) which is just across the river from St. Louis. Been up in the arch tons of times. We would go up and look across the river to see the house where my parents lived from the time they married (1950) until I was 3 (1965)!
My name is Emily and I am mom to five wonderful blessings, and wife to my husband Carlos and "Gemma" to two adorable grandsons. I homeschooled the kids for 16 years. We have been in the ministry for over 25 years. My husband and I are the Executive Directors of the Orlando House of Prayer Missions Base. My favorite hobbies are musics, worship, cooking, baking and reading. I love to try new recipes because I get bored cooking the same things over and over. Organizing and decluttering is something I love to do. I can't stand clutter so I am constantly going through our home to eliminate what I can. I also love wearing Bare Escentuals. They are natural and when you wear them you can't feel them on your face.

We wanted to stop and go in the arch but it was FREEZING and we were too cold to get out of the car :-)
