Barbies, Boggle Jr and a Trip to the Mall

During the day on Saturday we had nothing going on so Lisa and the kids came over to hang out. First on the agenda was swimming . .I forgot to take pictures. After they finished in the pool the girls headed right upstairs to the Barbies where they had a great time playing.

A few weeks ago I introduced Kaitlyn to the game Boggle Jr. We have had this game since Jordan was just learning how to read. She loved it! Today I taught Christian how to play and he caught on fast and was so happy he was spelling words.
It was fun to watch him look for the letters!
And then when he found the right one he was so proud.
Ken had been working on Saturday so when he got home we decided to go to the mall and walk around for a little bit.
By the time we got to the mall the kids were hungry so we made a stop at the food court. While everyone got their food we got picture happy!
Ava was ready for her pizza.
Lisa got her haircut a few days ago . . she had him chop off 7 inches. I think it looks GREAT!
After dinner the kids wanted to go and see the puppies at the pet store.
This little guy was SOLD . . .I could see why he was sooooo cute!
The kids had a great time looking at all the puppies.
I was amazed that they sold stroller for your dogs.
We then walked around a little bit more and then I treated the kids to cookies.
It was fun watching them pick out the one they wanted.

I am so glad we live close to Ken, Lisa and the kids.

With our kids growing up and moving out it fills a void to have their blessings around.

Sierra is glad she has them too!

I suppose to play keys and sing in the "Hollywood Prayer Watch" that I play in every Saturday night at 10 pm but I couldn't that night because Taylor was gone at a friends house and Carlos was still in Hawaii. So, we all went home and I got to bed early that night :-)

I can't imagine anyone actually buying one of those dog strollers. Don't people normally take their dogs out for WALKS? (LOL)! But, just wanted to say they are really cute.
