Vietnam Veterans Memorial and The White House

We had enough time to walk over to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the White House.
I had been to the wall before but this was Carlos, Landon and Sierra's first time to see it.

It is so humbling to see all the names on the wall.

Sierra and Landon were overwelmed! They have a new appreciation for the men and women who serve and protect our country!
We then walked toward the White House. This is Landon in front of the Federal Reserve.
Much to our surprise we came across a statue that was dedicated to an Artigas . . .Ken do you have a bronze statue in DC? LOLOoops. . .sorry it is Jose Artigas LOL

We also passed by The American Redcross Headquarters.

Another block or two up the road the kids were so excited to be standing right in front of the White House. We weren't able to get inside because we had forgot the kids social security numbers . . .Bummer!

We talked with the kids about all the history that has happened in this beautiful home.
I thought I had taken a picture with Sierra and the White House but I must have forgotten.
We pray for this upcoming Presidential Election! We pray that the man who gets into office will uphold the sanctity of life. With over 50,000,000 babies murdered by Abortion so far. . and over 3600 babies a day being killed we need a Godly rightous man who will help to over turn Roe vs Wade. In Jesus Name! Amen

We've been fortunate to get tickets to the White House 2 times now. It is AMAZING!
