Branson, MO here we come!

We wokeup Friday morning and headed south down to Branson. Neither one of us had ever been there so we were excited to see and experience it. Our very good friends Kathy and her daughter Heleena live in Branson. When we realized we had to drive Alexia to KC I thought we might as well drive south and pay them a visit.

Here we are approaching the Ozarks.

We were shocked when we stopped to get gas and it was only $3.36. We were both so excited to see it that low . . .but then reality hit and we were like. . .I can't believe we are excited to see it over $3.00 a gallon but I guess when you were paying $4.00 a few weeks ago it did feel good to only pay that amount.
We arrived in Branson around 2pm. Our friend Kathy is the sales manager for 5 Branson hotels so she put us up in one of them. We found the hotel with no problem but as we pulled into the hotel we were shocked to read the following . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

She had put out names on the sign . . boy did we feel like celebrities! Thanks Kathy . . .that was a riot!
When Kathy liked in Central Florida about 10 years ago she was our office manager for our ministry. Heleena was also part of our youth ministry when Carlos was youth pastoring. She is now married with 3 wonderful children.
We all went to a 3pm show called Celebrate America. Kathy's fiance is in the show. The show was incredible . . .I didn't know you could take pictures with no flash until it was over or I would of taken a few.
This is Dale . . Kathy's fiance. He is an incredible actor and did a great job in the show!
After the show we went back to the hotel to get ready for the evening show and dinner.
