August Awaken The Bride Weekend

This weekend was our montly ATB service (Awaken The Bride). Each third Friday of the month we bring in a different worship leader to come and lead worship for the service plus do workshops for our musicians and singers. Terri Terry who is the Dean of Students at IHOP's Forerunner Music Academy and also teaches voice and piano was our guest speaker. Also coming in for the service was Jordan and Adam from IHOP.

Friday night is the Awaken The Bride Service. Jordan, Adam along with a team of our muscians and singers led us in worship. This is Adam and he is a student at IHOP KC- he sings and plays the guitar.

Jordan wrote a new song a few weeks ago . . he debuted it on Friday night. It was great having him home for the weekend!Saturday morning we have a workshop called Worship Roundtable. This is where we invite worship leaders, singers and musicians from around Florida to come for a two hours and be able to ask questions and learn from these worship leader and instructors that come in each month. Terri was GREAT! Along with everyone asking questions she did mini teachings in between the questions. We learned so much! After the roundtable a few of us went to grab lunch before the next workshop. The next workshop was a two hour keyboard workshop which Terri taught. Again it was so helpful. She taught us so many things that will help many of us to become better on our keyboards. This morning Terri spoke at church. She has such a way with connecting to the people.
She is not only so knowledgable but also has the best sense of humor.

She used Christian in an example.
She even used herself in an example too!
After church we went to lunch!
Everyone was sad to see Terri, Jordan and Adam head back to KC.
This is Esther who is a prayer watch leader and one of our singers, Enrique who helps us with our sound and his wife Joanne who is one of our worship leaders. They just adore Terri and came to the restaurant to say goodbye.
Thank you Terri for taking the time out to come and sow into OHOP. We had so much fun and we all learned a lot. Thank you Jordan and Adam for helping out with the music . . you both ROCK! We love all three of you and we miss you already!
