Multnomah Falls
Wednesday we had a free day so we decided to venture out and take a drive over to Oregon to see the Multnomah Falls. On the way we had a beautiful look at Mt. Hood.
On the left side of this picture is Washington state and on the right side is Oregon.
Arriving at the Falls!
God's beauty was all around us.
It was breath taking.
What an incredible awesome God we serve.
He created a beautiful world for us to live in.
We stopped at the information area first.
We first walked to Multnomah Creek.
And then we got our first good look at the falls.
I noticed in this picture that Landon is almost as tall as me.
The bridge you see above the kids was built in 1915. Before that it use to be a log bridge which was built in 1914 I believe.
The kids were amazed at its beauty.
We then decided to hike up the mountain.
We all four started out together but then about a 1/3 of the way up Sierra and I decided to stop because we had on flip flops and her feet were starting to hurt.
Landon and Carlos ventured to the top.
Sierra and I decided ice cream sounded better!
The Columbia River Gorge separates Washington and Oregon.
They made it to the top!
Great job Landon and Carlos!
Landon enjoyed the adventure with his dad.

We've never been there. It looks BEAUTIFUL. We are close enough that we should plan a trip over that way some time.
