Back Home Again
Monday night we flew back into town around 6:15 pm. We had to head right to Bible School which started at 7:45. We were sooooooooooooo tired but we really needed to go. Carlos teaches the second year students and I am in year one and didn't want to get behind.
My friend Ruth lent me her shoulder. I did my best not to fall asleep! I was deliriously tired but I made it though the two hours!
I ended up getting dressed and then went to Hallmark to buy the kids their annual Christmas ornaments. In this bag hold this years ornaments . . .the contents can't be opened until our annual decorate the house for Christmas day which is the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
After Hallmark I went to the grocery to buy the items I needed to make my Tortilla Soup and Vegetable Soup. We had a cold front come in so it was perfect timing to make some big batches of soup. Here are the links to the recipes: http://emilys5blessings.blogspot.com/2007/03/tortilla-soup.html
Alexia picked up Sierra for me so I finished my shopping and then headed home. I did a little Christmas shopping online and then headed to the gym and the library to return the books. I came home and made the Tortilla soup. It was a quiet dinner, just me, Landon and Sierra were at home tonight. Carlos was at a meeting with Ken and Alexia and Taylor were at a basketball game. When Taylor got home I headed over to Lisa's around 9 pm for coffee. I had not seen her since last Thursday so we had TONS to talk about. I was only going to stay an hour but ended up staying until midnight. About the time Ken and Carlos walked in the door so we hung out a little longer and then I headed home. I wanted to try to read some of Sunrise tonight but I think I am going to head to bed.

So glad you're back home again! Hey... are you going to do a special BE demonstration using all of the new stuff you just got? I'm anxious to use mine! And, I bought that kit from Costco as well. The one with the bisque in it. Now I'm wondering if I should go buy the eye kit or not. I think I have enough eye stuff now with the QVC kit and the Costco kit with bisque, don't you? I don't usually do much with my eyes anyway so things in these 2 packages might be enough, right? I'm tempted to try the special eye kit, but don't want to spend the $$ if I don't need to.
Hi Cindy . . .I actually haven't had a chance to dive into it yet but I will soon. I have been so tired since we have been home I haven't even done my face :-) LOL
I think you would love that eye kit but you know best if you would really use it. I know it is a GREAT deal so you can't go wrong . .. either way . . you are set with your new colors or you could splurge and pick up that other kit too . . .:-)
The soup looks delicious! Can't wait to try the Tortilla!
Jennifer . . .it is so yummy! I always make a double batch so we have left overs for a few days!
The cooler weather is heavenly....now if it will stick around a bit....we bounced between 58 and 88 this week.....as highs.
De'Etta,
We are back in the 80's but there is another cold front coming in for the weekend.
