Our Daughters!
This morning Sierra and I had a little time before my friend Angela picked her up for school. She looked so cute in her skirt and top I just had to get my camera and take a picture . . . .you know blogging moms are always looking for something to go on the blog for that day. Daughter's . . .they are something so precious. Yes, the boys are special too but there is just something about the whole mother/daughter bond. As I looked at Sierra this morning I couldn't help but think to myself she is going to follow in her sister's footsteps of being fashion forward. She likes to put together cute outfits that she tries to copy off of Alexia. It's hard to believe my baby is going to be 8 years old this December. Time passes by so quickly. Sometimes I forget to cherish these days with my kids here at home . It has been so wonderful having all five of the kids together for these two weeks. Only two more days and Jordan heads back to school. Sierra you are a precious jewel and I love you very much. I thank God every day that he blessed me with my "Little Angel"!
Then there is Alexia . .. . our oldest daughter. She is always been the "fashion" forward one of the family. Always, checking out the latest clothing and jewelry trends. She likes to be the first to "try" out the new fashion styles that come into the stores.
Wait . . . . .this can't be happening . . . . she has digressed into . . . .something . . I am not sure what!!!
Oh no . . . . .the unthinkable has happened . . . .her fashion forwardness has gone backwards . . . .to another place in time.
Alexia . . . .. come back to us! Who is going to tell me what looks good when I need to pull together an outfit. Who is going to say "No mom . . . don't wear that" or
"Change your shoes and wear the other ones." I will be lost without my fashion diva daughter!!!!!!!!!!
Come Back Alexia!!!!!!!!!!!! To Be Continued:

LOL! I'm assuming it's homecoming or something.
I'm so glad I still have Emily at home to tell me what to wear! Both she and Amanda always make sure I look "ok" before I head out.. not that I have many outfits to chose from though....
I remember the day Sierra was born. We were at MGM Studios. I kept calling to see how you were doing. Can't believe she's going to be 8 this year.
My baby just turned 11. My oldest will be 20 next week. They grow up in a blink of an eye.
Cindy -yes it's spirit week at the school so she has all these wacky outfits she is going to be wearing this week :-)
I am going to miss Alexia when she moves to Kansas City with Jordan next summer. 1500 miles a way is a LONG WAY from home!
Giselle - can you believe how old our blessings are? Hard to believe she is going to be 20 . . JOrdan will be 20 next June.
Emily,
Funny picture. Is Alexia going to be on the same music course as Jordan?
Dorothy
Oops - I made a mistake . . she is going to be 18 next May . . .what I am doing . . rushing her poor life away LOL
Dorothy - she is going to a different Academy at the same school - it is a Bible school that focuses not only on the Word but on intercession, prayer, missions and much more!
