My Day With Selena!

Today I spent the day with my niece Selena. I had planned to take her to the park and over to see my horse but with the rain that didn't workout. After I picked her up I came home for a minute to do a couple things. Usually the first thing she says when she comes to my house is, "Let's take pictures Aunt Emmy!" so that is what we did.

Then the second thing she does wants is to take pictures with Molly. She LOVES Molly so much!


Then we headed to the library. I thought that would be a good alternative since it was raining. She seemed to love the idea. We ended up reading so many books I lost count :-) While we were there I made a quick a stop at the Fiction section to see if there were any Karen Kingsbury books I could read while I am waiting for the Sunrise series to come in. Luckily I found Oceans Apart which came highly recommended by my sister Stephanie. I will start that tonight!

The we decided we were hungry and we went to Chick Fil A for lunch!
After she had lunch we went to the play area for a little bit. She met a nice young boy named Ian while we were there but he was too shy to get his picture taken.

I then had to head to Target to pickup a few things. Selena is a good helper and shopper!


We are now home and she is sound asleep. Hopefully she wakes up before it is time to pickup Sierra from school.

UPDATE: She wokeup 10 minutes before it was time to pick Sierra up. Selena was so excited to see Sierra and Sierra was equally as excited to see Selena!

It was now snack time.

We are bringing home Selena around four o'clock and then it is time for homework and getting dinner ready.
