Catching Up Tuesday through Friday
I haven't blogged since Tuesday and some of you have wondered why I haven't. I guess when some of you are use to new blogs everyday it seems weird to come here three days in a row to no new updates. I have been so busy this week having my family in town that I haven't had much time to blog. I will try to catch you all up tonight.
Tuesday morning Carlos flew out to Pensacola to attend a conference. Michelle, her kids and mom and dad left that day.
Wednesday my sister Steph and my nephews headed over to see my sister's inlaws. I took this day to get things caught up in my house. It's funny how you seem to forget about your routines when you have family in town. Also, Taylor and Landon had their yearly checkups at the pediatrician. They both got good reports but Landon had to get three shots and Taylor too. They both weren't thrilled about that. That night Taylor had Volleyball practice and then we called it a night.
Thursday after I got the kids to school I headed to the gym. AFter the gym I went to Sierra's classroom to volunteer for half a day then headed home to meet my sister and nephews who were coming back to my house to stay through Friday. That evening I was suppose to drive Landon and Sierra to a church youth retreat that was about 1 1/2 hours away but Landon came home from school not feeling well so I ended up finding a ride for Sierra with some other kids from church. My sister and I drove her to the meeting spot and then sent her off with the group. Steph and I then took advantage of a little alone time and headed off to do some shopping. We went to a new Ross, Marshalls and Home Goods that just opened up and then drove to the Factory Outlets to hit the Pfaltzgraaf Outlet. We had a nice time just hanging out. We then headed home and called it a night.
Friday I let Landon and Taylor stay home from school because we were going to leave to head down to my grandmother's and my parents house until Saturday. On the way there we dropped off Landon at the youth retreat. He was feeling much better. My mom rode with me and my sister Steph, her boys and Taylor went on ahead.
We got to the camp around 5:00pm. We ended up following Ken and Lisa . . they were dropping off Kaitlyn too.

Around 7:30 we met up with the gang for dinner. Here we are with Dad and Mom.

I have to know more info about those amebas (Sp?)... how do you know you shouldn't go in the water? Is there a sign posted or something? Just wondering... because we hope to head to FL again soon and I sure wouldn't have a clue about such things being clear up here in the boonies (LOL)!
Very cool to have those paintings!
Cindy - once the water temps in the lakes get to a certain temperature it is very dangerous to swim in them. There are HARMFUL DEADLY bacteria's that are in there and they are lethal. We have had at least 3 kids die this year alone. I won't even allow my kids to swim in the lakes after July. I am not waiting to get the warning.
