Monday Monday

This morning Lisa and I had a great workout! I am really enjoying working out earlier in the day and getting it done so we don't have to worry about it the rest of the day. After working out we both headed home. I showered and got the house cleaned up a little bit and then headed out to the bank, Wal-mart and the grocery!

I had to spend some extra time with my horse Farley late this afternoon. He has been lame off and on the last week or two. I think he might have an abcess (sp?) I tried to soak his foot but he would have nothing to do with it so tomorrow I go to plan two which is putting this tar like substance on the bottom of his foot and then wrapping it in a disposable diaper and wrapping it with duck tape. That will help to draw it out if he has one. If it is not what I think it is then it is because his ferrier trimmed his hooves way to short and I mean way to short.

I then went back to the house to make dinner. I had everything ready on time . .. the table was set, candles lit, jazz music in the background . . . it ended up being just the four kids and me but it was a very enjoyable meal! Carlos got home late and had his then.

It's now time for the younger kids to get ready for bed. I just went in to tuck in Sierra and found her reading the number 5 Boxcar Mystery book. I bought the whole series back when Jordan was in 3rd or 4th grade. Sierra started reading the first one about a month ago and she is just flying through them.

Well, I am going to finish up the kitchen, get my jammies on and do some reading too!
