Jordan's Home!!!
This morning around 1:30 am I wokeup to being hugged and a kiss on my cheek from Jordan. He flew in late last night - Carlos and Taylor went to pick him up at the airport. I couldn't keep my eyes open and I ended up falling asleep. It was so good to know he was here safe and sound.
Later this morning Jordan headed to the church to practice with the praise and worship team at our church. Jordan is here for two weeks due to a fall break at the academy so that means he will be part of our praise and worship team for two Sunday's. When he and Lisa do worship together it is always awesome so we are all looking forward to the two of them rocking the house! LOL
We are so excited to have Jordan home! Carlos mentioned that when they came in from the airport last night Jordan walked in and lifted his hands up in the air and said, "Oh, it's so good to be home!" We are glad you are home too! We have missed you!
We have missed you sitting down at our piano and playing beautiful songs of worship. It was nice today hearing those songs penetrate through the house once again! We have missed hearing you talking with your younger brothers and sisters. It was great to hear the conversations sparked throughout the day!Jordan told us today that when he wokeup this morning Sierra was sitting on his bed just staring at him . . . looks like she missed you too! When Jordan came this afternoon he mentioned that he would like to take the kids out to eat and then putt putt golfing. We were kind of shocked because we thought he would want to go and hangout with his friends but he really missed all his brothers and sisters and wanted to hang with them instead :-)
It's wonderful to have all seven of us under the same roof for two weeks. We are all going to cherish each day that we have together!
The kids all hopped in the van this evening and headed out for an evening of fun!Since the kids were all gone for the evening we ended up getting together with Ken, Lisa and the kids. We missed them so much! It was great spending the time with them too. Lisa was attending a few function close to the place where we were going out to dinner so Ken and the kids picked up Carlos and I and we met Lisa at Don Pablo's for dinner.
When we got in the van the kids were so excited to see us!
and my special girl Ava!
After dinner we all headed to Books A Million for coffee and so the kids could play at the kid center. It's hard to believe Ava is already standing up at the train table. She is 10 months old today! Happy 10 months Ava - Ebby and Papa love you!
I missed my best bud too!
Me and KK goofing around!
Papa reading Kaitlyn a few books!
Ava loves her Papa!
Christian was so cute tonight! He had been sitting watching a movie when all of a sudden he jumped up and turned around and said, "Ebby, you are my best friend!" and "Papa, I love you!" We love you too Christian! You are the best! This was the end to a perfect day!

Emily! Welcome home! No wonder you were a little out of it at 1:00 a.m., with all that traveling and changing time zones! What a blessing to have all of your children home for the next few weeks!
Thanks Kristine! I have been a little out of it lately but with each passing day the jet lag seems to be disappearing!
I can't wait to catch up with everyone's blogs . . I feel so out connection with everyone so that is my goal for this week to get through everyone's at least one :-)
