Italy Day 8 Part 2
I am trying to hurry and get these pictures posted before we leave tomorrow so I will have to fill in the blanks later about what each thing is you are seeing.
We ran out of Euro's so it was a stop at the Change Exchange. For those of you heading to Europe, you get a better exchange rate at a bank!
This building was built 31 years before Christ. It was originally built to honor the Roman God's but later when Christians had their freedom it was changed to honor the different Popes.
Once inside you are totally amazed at the architecture.
I couldn't get a whole picture of the ceiling but this will give you an idea of what it is like. To this day they have no idea how they made this Dome.
We worked up a healthy appetite so it was off to dinner later that evening.
This restaurant was called De Robertino. We were referred to this restaurant by the gentleman we met the oth
er night. When we got there we ran into him at this restaurant too!
On the way home Scott found this piggy bank on the road by a dumpster. It was filled with coins but they don't know how much is in it because it is money from all over the world. When they get back to the states they are going to try to exchange it and see how much they found!
Another wonderful day of site seeing and wonderful restaurants!
