Italy Day 4
Today was our last full day in Venice. We had a great time checking out other parts of the city.
Our first stop was the fish and vegetable market!
Venice is known for their wonderful fish.
The fruits and vegetables looked great!
Our hotel is right behind us.
Then we went to the shopping market.
We found artist selling his beautiful paintings. We ended up buying one and so did Scott and Tammi.
Kathleen found this adorable jewelry store. It was so pretty you wanted to buy it all!
After a day of shopping we met Martha, Nathan and the gang for dinner.
I had angler fish . . .it was so good!
Carlos had the salmon.
After saying goodbye to everyone we then headed down to San Marco Square.
There is wonderful music being played all around.
We hung out there until around midnight and then headed toward our hotel.
We had to stop and get some yummy gelato. Yum!
I messed up our itineray . . . I thought we were leaving Venice today to head to Florence but we leave tomorrow. The hotel was totally booked tonight so we are bunking in with Scott and Tammi. Thank goodness they had a pull out couch!

UGH! For a minute I thought you were going to say you had to sleep out on the veranda or something (LOL)... I'm mixing you up with the book I'm reading I guess - the last chapter mentioned veranda boys >VBG>! Anyway! So glad they had a pull out!
The sites of the town are great. I can't wait to see where you're going to hang your new painting.
Thank goodness they didn't mind us taking the couch. I couldn't believe I messed up like that! We are all settled in here at Florence now. I am trying to upload pictures from today but it is taking such a longggggggggg time. I am going to give it another 30 minutes and then call it a day :-)
