Friday's Activities - Part 1
This morning I must of been very tired because I didn't wakeup until almost 11:00 am. I wokeup and noticed Landon was still sleeping . . .I didn't feel so bad then :-) I got up and got dressed and by that time Carlos had come back to the cabin. He said he had a great meeting with some of the visiting pastors who are here.
This is a pastor from Tanzania. I can't remember his name but he also asked Carlos to come to his country to preach sometime next year too!
This is Elena's brother . . once again I don't remember his name but he is a pastor from Russia. He also invited Carlos to come and speak in October. I hope to go on this trip with him . . .that will be my first trip to Russia.
Then the kids did arts and crafts. They had a great time making two different items.
They made necklaces and bracelets.
Also these cute birdhouses.
After the crafts the girls all decided to go swimming.
There was also volleyball!
There was also ping pong . . that is Landon hiding behind the red paddle
Carlos and I decided to do some reading and studying so we walked over to the area of camp that was nice and quiet. He chose to read in the gazebo . . .
I chose under a nice shade tree! It was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep for awhile.
This is Pastor Andre . . he is pastor from Siberia. He booked Carlos to go and preach there next February.

I hope you get to go to Russia. I used to do the stateside work for some friends who were missionaries to Russia a long time ago.
I pray it works out for me to go. Vasily and Elana said it is so beautiful! Carlos has been many times and he always enjoys it when he has a chance to go.
