Mema and I had just gone on a walk . . .spent an hour in the gulf and now were relaxing on the beach! The water is so much warmer on the gulf than it was on the Atlantic side. It almost felt like bath water!

Hopefully the gulf water is also warmer in the winter? We're hoping to spend some time on that side the next time we head to FL!
I think it would be warmer. There is a place somewhere on the internet where you can look at water temps and compare but I can't think where it is right now.
