Monday Night At Capitva

Tonight for dinner my cousin Mari suggested going to a restaurant over on Captiva called the Green Flash. So, all 40 of us piled into all of our cars and headed to Captiva. The drive was beautiful as it was mostly along the coast.

The restaurant was right on the water.I was going to try to get picture of all 40 of us in the restuarant but the lighting by the window didn't allow me to.Many of us got this meal . . it was fresh fish, scallops and shrimp. It came recommended by my cousin's friend who lives in Captiva.My cousin's husband Ray ordered this salad and did it look good! Also, a big thank you to Dad and Uncle Jim for treating ALL of us to dinner!The little kids kept freaking out about something in the restroom. After dinner I walked in to find this "guy" in the women's restroom. I am not sure why he was there but the kids got a kick of him. At least his head was turned :0)After dinner we found a nice family who needed a family picture taken. I offered to take it for them. I then asked if they could take a picture of our family . . . little did they know that there would be 40 of us in the picture :-)We then sat under the hut and talked for awhile.Joe and my Aunt DianeJulia and MariSteph, my cousin Julie, me my cousin Mari and MichelleThe Stud Muffins goofing around out on the pier.

Then all 40 of us ventured over to the Dairy Queen back at Sanibel. I can't believe we all had rooms in our stomach for ice cream but like everyone kept saying . . .we are on vacation!

When we got back to the condo's Mema was ready for bed. I chit chatted with her for a little bit and then Taylor walked in to tell her good night.

The guys and "some" of the girls got in some more poker.

The rest of us went to my Uncle Jim's condo and visited. It was the end to a great first day of vacation!
