Tuesday Update!

I haven't really been in the mood to blog . . .in fact I am so down from the disappointment about the land I almost feel like not blogging anymore. I have been praying for this land behind us for the last 6 years and I would of never believed that we wouldn't have been able to get it.
I know there are a lot of people out there going through way worse things than I am so I shouldn't let it get it to me but I am human . . . and I am sad about the whole thing. I will get over it and I know God is in control but boy does it still hurt!

On a good note, my dear friend Leanna, who currently is keeping my horse, called me today and offered to still let Farley stay at her farm. I am not sure what I am going to do . . .I just feel so bad for already being there as long as he has. Leanna is a very generous and giving person and I don't want to take advantage of her. Thanks so much Leanna for the offer. I am going to pray about it and see if I can get any words of wisdom form Him about this whole situation.

Carlos and Jordan left for Portland, OR early this morning. They both have speaking engagements at different churches in Portland and Seattle. Lisa and I will be flying out there on Thursday to join them. Lisa is going to be helping out with the praise and worship and I am going to be helping her with Ava. The kids are going to my inlaws for the 5 days that we will be gone. I think this trip is coming at a perfect time. It will be good to get away for awhile to clear my mind and being with my hubby and one of my best friends . . .well, it doesn't get much better than that :-)

American Idol us starting in about 20 minutes so I better make sure we have things all settled around the house so we can enjoy the show. Also, tonight is the Country Music Awards . . we will be watching some of that show too!

Hi Emily,
Sometimes it just looks like we lost the battle. Keep strong in your faith and keep believing. Sometimes the Lord tests us right up to the limit and just because it looks like they didn't accept , God can turn it around and make it where no one will buy the property and they will gladly accept your offer. I just feel led to share this with you.

Now I see why you're in Portland. I should have started reading back where I left off instead of with the newest entries (LOL). I know I should always do that, but I forget. Hope you have a great time out there.
