Prayer time on the mountain top.
This morning many of us wokeup around 6:30 am to walk up to the top of the mountain to pray. What a beautiful walk it was . . . I love the northwest United States . . . it's so beautiful. On the way up to the top I saw a cute little horse farm . . . how perfect and peaceful it looked right on the side of the mountain.
The views were incredible! We have such an awesome God that creates such beauty!
When we got to the top there were people already praying. After we prayed we couldn't leave without snapping a few pictures.
This Meraly who is office manager and she helps run the "Encounter Team" and her sister Ruth her is one of our top leaders with our House of Prayer back home.
Ruth and Gloria (Gloria heads up our "Women's Ministry")
Meraly and her brother Isai (Isai is a missionary and travels all over the world preaching) He recently got engaged to the love of his life Samantha . . I took this picture for her! (He misses you a lot Sam :-)

When we got back to our campsite the ladies had breakfast waiting for us. The first service this morning starts at 9:00 am. The first session is called "The longings of our heart"

Great pics! I LOVE hiking and praying in the mountains.
Thank you so much for all of the great pictures. Matt has been telling me how beautiful everything is and now I know exactly what he is describing ;)
Can you do me a favor? Our digital camera broke so we aren't able to get any pictures of Matt ministering on the praise and worship team. Would you mind snapping some good closeups and some action shots of him playing so that I can send them out to our support team? i would really appreciate it.
Blessings and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Stunning photos, just beautiful! I agree with you, every time I see something so different, so big, I can't help but think of how amazing God is!
Kristine . . I don't think many people realize how beautiful America is. I think it is once you get out and actually see it that you really start to appreicate it. Even seeing the pictures on your blog of Colorado . . .has made me greatly appreciate the country we live in!
What an awesome setting....I also love the NW.
