Our Monday!
Today we had a great start to a new week. For some reason my laundry had started to pile up so I did 3 loads this morning. Then Sierra's teacher emailed me and asked if I could run to the library to pick up some books on Holland for their Cultural Fair. After picking up and dropping off the books at the school I headed up to the office to work. I headed home around 4:30 because I needed to be home by 5:00 to leave for a mystery shop that I had to do for Friendy's. Taylor, Landon and Sierra were the only ones home and Sierra was the only one who wanted to go with me so we headed out.
We had a great time together . . .talking about school, God, her friends and oh so much more. We ended our meal with our favorite Hot Fudge Sundae's - Yum!
When we got home Sierra and I decided to go on a walk so we could walk off some of our dinner. We had a nice cool front come through last night so our temps hovered around 75 all day! It was beautiful! While we were walking I decided to give Sierra a little lesson on the Greek language. My dad is full blooded Greek so I know a little bit. I started having her repeat a few of the phrases and I was amazed how fast she caught on. Towards the end of the walk we called my parents and she left a message all in Greek. My dad called her back and he was so excited to hear her speaking Greek. I am going to continue to teach her a little bit at a time. I don't know much but I found a great website that teach you many phrases.
Four of our kids are all in bed asleep now except for Jordan who is with Carlos at the Bible School. They should be home soon!

75 sounds like the PERFECT temperature to me!
Cindy - our perfect weather is back again today but by the weekend we are back to 89 . .. I wish it would stay in the 70's through May but that is wishful thinking :-)
When we lived in New Jersey, Steve fell in love with Friendly's! They had this dessert call a Watermelon Slice - it was all different kinds of sherbets and looked just like a slice of watermelon! He STILL talks about wishing there was a Friendly's around here!
Ginger, that sounds so good . . especially in the summertime when it is so hot. I will have to ask them if they still make that the next time I go in.
