Pregnancy Photo's Blessing # 2 - Alexia
When Jordan was 14 months old we found out we were expecting baby #2. We were so excited and couldn't wait for the arrival of our second blessing. Here I am with Jordan about 4 months pregnant. Here we are at Disney and I am about 7 1/2 months pregnant.
Easter Sunday about 8 months pregnant. Here we are at Sea World when I was about 36 weeks . . we wanted a special day with Jordan before the baby made her arrival.
On May 9th, 1990 I woke up and went to bathroom. I know this is going to sound gross but it's the truth . . as I was sitting on the toilet peeing . . the pee wouldn't stop. I yelled out to Carlos . . "Either my water broke or my bladder did " I went ahead and took a shower and then we got ready to head to the hospital. Thank goodness my mom and grandma had already arrived at our house. Here I am with Jordan getting ready to leave for the hospital.
Alexia Nicole was born weighing in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and 20 inches long.

Wonderful pictures that really tell the story. LOL about Regis. I'm pretty sure I gave birth to Oprah in the background one time. I was thinking why didn't someone switch off the tv when things started getting intense, I certainly couldn't!
The labor experience was so different from baby number one to number two . . .I definitly enjoyed the whole labor experience more the second time around than the first . . . !!!
Emily--you both look SO YOUNG! How old were you? I'm sure you mentioned your ages in your wedding blog but I can't remember.
Yay for epidurals!!
Look how gorgeous you were the entire pregnancy and coming home from the hospital. Wow! Did you gain ANY weight? :)
Kathy - I got married at 22 and Carlos was 25. I had Jordan at 23 and Alexia at 25 :-)
As far as weight gain . . I gained 25 with Jordan and 21 with Alexia. The weight with Alexia came off very fast . . I am not sure why though.
As I always say - thank the good Lord for the person who invented the epidural :-)
Emily, what I love about these pics is how **80s** they are, with your big hair, Carlos's lime green shirt and all.
Epidural, yep. Between two births, I had a total of one contraction, and that one was enough (as wimpy as I'm quite sure it was). Except that I gained more with ONE baby than you did with two!
Kristine, I look back at what we wore in the 80's and I am almost embarrassed . . :-) I think now . . .what in world were we thinking :-)
