My Nephew Tanner's Baby Dedication

Carlos has one sister Diane. She has two children Brionna and Tanner. Today was Tanner's baby dedication at church. He was born in August and is a very sweet little baby boy!

Carlos is praying for Tanner . . our brother in law Bobby - Tanner's daddy is holding him.
Showing off Tanner to the congregation!
Diane is telling everyone all the details about Tanner. He ended up falling asleep right before the dedication began. He is being held by one of Diane's best friend's Kimber who is Tanner's Godmother.
After the dedication Bobby and Diane treated the whole family and all their friends to a very nice lunch at an Italian Restaurant.

Everyone was given this picture of Tanner with the frame.

She had each family take a picture with her family.

We also had one more dedication this morning. Pastor Dave (our Spanish pastor) and his wife Lourdes had their sweet baby girl dedicated too. She had the most beautiful name but I can't remember for the life of me how to spell it. What a beautiful baby! Congrats Dave and Lourdes!

How special that you had another baby dedication at your church so soon. Wasn't there another one just last week? I think so.

See ya soon!

Cindy - we normally dedicate babies once a month but due to a couple of scheduling problems we had a couple very close together.

Emily, remind me again how big your church is? I love the baby dedications! Such a sweet time. The cross cake was so neat. Where did they have that made? How are you able to get picture so clear during the service? Are you sitting close to the front? Being super curious here! Ha!

Kathy - our church runs about 400 people each Sunday. We started back in April 2000 with about 11 people :-) As far as the cake goes, I believe my sister in law either got it at Publix Supermarket or a local bakery in town . I will have to ask her to make sure.
Being that I am the pastorswife my honey likes me to sit in the front row which does give me a wonderful view for pictures! I honestly do not care for the front row but in order to honor him I sit there. i am more a back row kind of gal :-) Usually though, I just walk right up to the front and take pictures during the dedications!
