Sunday Evening

After we got home from Tanner's Dedication Luncheon Sierra, Taylor and I headed home. Jordan, Alexia and Carlos had a meeting at church and Landon ended up going over to his cousin Ricky's house. Taylor has a big game today so his coach called a Sunday night practice. After changing clothes we headed to pick up Taylor's teammate Rosney because the boys wanted to apply at our local grocery store to work as a bag boy. They were disappointed to find out once we got there that they do not start hiring until the age of 16 both guys are 14 so we ended up leaving. I dropped both boys off at Rosney's because we were a little too early to get them to practice. On the way home Lisa called and said they were over at her inlaws and that she had just made a pot of coffee. Ken was at the same meeting that Carlos was at so we decided to head over there. Once we got there we decided to put together the gift the Carlos and I got Ava for her Baby Dedication/Valentine's present. Ava loves the swing and this is so cool because it is portable and they can take it anywhere with them.

I left Lisa's around 8:00 to go get Taylor from practice. I found out from Taylor that he, Alexia, Landon and Ricky were all going to stay at my inlaws for the night. So, the four of them went there . . .Jordan and Carlos came home and I already had Sierra in bed. After Carlos changed we headed over to Ken's parents house because Lisa was going to make us omelet's while we wathed The Grammy's. Thank goodness my inlaws and her inlaws all live with in minutes from me :-) She made us the best omelet's - she even put crabmeat in them! Yum!!!

I did pickup at the grocery these strawberries to go with the omelet's. They were so sweet and good that I am going to go back to day to get more. We were all so excited when Carrie Underwood won Best New Artist! We were less than thrilled that The Dixie Chicks won 5 . . . .

Toward the end of the evening I started to get so sleepy. I think I actually doze off a few times while I was talking to Lisa. Actually, there have been times in the past where I have been on the phone with Lisa (this is back n the days I went to bed around 1 or 2 am) that I have fallen asleep while on the phone! Now, that is pretty sad! I would wakeup to her saying, "Em, are you there?" I was so embarrassed that I fell asleep. Now, I got to bed much earlier!
