Sweet Selena!

Today I spent the day with my sweet niece Selena. I picked her up around 8:30 this morning and brought her home to play. After her morning nap and then lunch we headed out to run around a little bit and then headed to the grocery so I could pick up some things for dinner. I am trying a new soup recipe so I will post that later tonight. She is so sweet and so good. I really enjoy her and as you can tell from the pictures our kids adore her! We went and wokeup Jordan this morning . . .he had to get to work.
After a morning of playing she fell asleep on my bed.

On our way out from the grocery we both heard sirens. The firefighters pulled up very close to us so I pulled over to see what was going on.
The next thing we knew a Life Vac Helicopter landed . . .it seems there was a construction accident at the bank being built nearby. Please pray for the person who was hurt.
As I unloaded the groceries Selena spent some time with "Meow Meow" - that is what she calls Cassie.

Alexia came home after school but had to leave for work so she got a little snuggle time with Selena before she left.

Please pray for Selena's parents - my brother in law on Carlos' side and his girlfriend. I can't go into details but MAJOR prayer is needed. Selena is so sweet and so loving . . .I ask also you pray for her and for her half brother Kody.
Such sweet smiles.
I dropped of Selena back at her grandmother's around 4 pm. I was driving by my neighbor's farm and saw her horses by the fense. Can you tell I LOVE horses!

I better get busy and get the soup going. I have a loaf of bread rising now and chocolate chip cookies in the oven. I still need to make the salad and then dinner will be on the table :-)

Emily - it's precious to be able to put a face to Selena. Thank you for sharing. I have prayed for her off and on for over a year or so now...and will for sure continue.

I know you are a prayer warrior De'Etta - pray for her father Reese and her mother DeAnna. They are in need of prayer like never before.
