Christmas Eve Night
Carlos's family is from Colombia, South America. It is Latin tradition to open presents on Christmas Eve. Before any of us had small children we would open them at midnight but now we open them much earlier. Carlos has 3 brothers and 1 sister and they all live within 25 minutes of each other. Including his parents and grandmother who live right down the street from us. Every Christmas Eve we head to his parents house for dinner, dessert and presents. Here are a few pictures from our evening last night. Me and Selena.
My nephew Tanner.
My mother in law Myriam.
My niece Brionna.
Jordan, his friend Rodney and my brother in law Ray.
Sierra was patiently waiting for the presents.
We gave Selena 3 pairs of Carter pajama's and this baby doll. She LOVED it!Landon was so excited . . . his LEGO Christmas wish came true!Alexia and my brother in law Rick. My father in law and Brionna
Sierra was so excited when she received the DS Lite from my inlaws. This is Carlos' 87 year old grandmother - Stella!
My brother in law Bobby.
We got home from my inlaws around 11:30. The kids were taking all there goodies to their rooms and I needed to make the Breakfast Casserole to have it ready for the morning. While I was preparing it there was a knock on the door - much to our surprise a bunch of the youth from church came over to sing us some carols.
I was looking around for Sierra while the carolers were singing and I didn't see Sierra. I went upstairs to find her asleep on Taylor's bed :-)

Emily, your family is so patient with you and your camera! I was already thinking that when I saw the picture of your carolers. I could picture you saying, "Wait! I need to get my camera!" and running from the door and coming back to take the pic!
:) Merry Christmas!
Oh my goodness - you nailed it - that is exactly what I did LOL -
