Annual Trip to Downtown Disney

Every year for the past 14 or so years we make an annual trip to Downtown Disney with our very good friends Scott and Tammi and their kids. We have a tradition of taking a picture at the big tree, having dinner at Rainforest Cafe, taking a walk around Downtown Disney, stopping in a LEGO world and then heading back to Ghirardelli for ice cream. Here are a few pictures of our night!

Our 9 kids ranging from 18 to 7
Here we are at Rain Forest Cafe waiting for our names to be called.Today was Amanda's birthday. So we ended up celebrating her birthday and Sierra's. Rain Forest Cafe gave each girl a free sundae and sang Happy Birthday to them.
We always stop at LEGO world.

Landon - our LEGO addict is always in seventh heaven at LEGO WORLD.
Here are the guys and Sierra at the LEGO wall making their own creations.

The Bagel Men LOL - The guys were showing off their "bagel" stomachs . . . oh brother :-)
We met Scott and Tammi when I was pregnant with Alexia and Tammi was pregnant with Austin. Carlos and Scott were youth pastors for the same church. Carlos was the high school youth pastor and Scott was the young adult pastor. It's hard to believe they are both 16 years old. How time flies by.

We had an awesome night. It's a wonderful tradition that we look forward to every Christmas. I told Tammi it was a Christmas Miracle that all 13 of us actually got together tonight. With all of our different schedules I was surprised that we all actually made it.

Wow, Emily, I agree, it is a miracle to get everyone together, especially in the midst of Christmas, birthdays, teenagers, etc.! It looks like you had a great time, and I hope I can still eat bagels this week without having nightmare flashbacks of those bellies, eeek!!
