Hollywood Prayer Watch

Each Saturday night at our prayer room from 10 -12 midnight is the Hollywood prayer watch. During this watch different celebrities are prayed for that they might find the Lord. I was asked by Edwin that set's worship leader to play keys if I was available so Saturday night was my first time playing that prayer watch.

It was an awesome night filled with worship and intercession. You could really feel God's presence as the worship and prayers were lifted up.
I have not had much experience playing on a "praise team" or band so this is GREAT practice for me. I definitely felt comfortable and more relaxed that I did when I played the prayer set by myself last Wednesday. One thing that did resonate with me that night is that I really felt in my heart that this is what God wants me to be doing. It is exciting to know I am doing what He wants me to be doing. We all had a great time during the set and wonderful prayer were lifted up to the Lord during those two hours.
Thanks to Edwin and the whole Hollywood watch team . Thanks for asking me to be a part this prayer set. I look forward to next Saturday night!

And to my mom . . . .the words that you spoke to me back in jr high school when I took piano lessons for all those year has finally come to pass. Everytime I complained about practicing the piano you would say to me, "Emily, some day you will use your talent for the Lord!" I just blew off those words back then but it is amazing how your words mom were right on. Thanks for pushing me to continue as long as you did. I love you!

I'm so glad you are using your talent. God gave it to you and now you are using it for Him. I always wanted to play the piano, but never had the opportunity to take lessons. I tried to teach myself, but didn't learn too much. I could play a few songs without the sharps and flats cause I didn't know what to do about them. LOL

It's great that God has called you to play for Him again. I used to sing a lot when young and am just now at age 50 starting to sing for Hi. But my voice is going...not sure how much longer I'll be abe to do this. You should be able to play for a LONG time!
