Sierra Update and Prayer Request

Today was a quiet day compared to our days lately. I ran some errands and then came home to feed the horses. After Sierra came home from school my friend Angela came over. She asked me to give her a Bare Escentuals Makeover because she was considering making the switch over to BE. I totally forgot to take before and after pictures but she looked great and she loved the way it looked.

Sierra Toe Update

Sierra's toes are still very sore. I know from these pictures her nail looks blue but it is not from a bruise it is from the nailpolish she put on last week. I sent her to school today wearing two pairs of socks and her CROCS. I also asked her teacher to let her sit out from gym class this week.

When she got home from school I decided to call our neighbor who is a family practice doctor. I asked her if she could stop over and take a look at it. She was kind enough to come over . . .she said that she "thinks" the second toe could be broken or fractured so starting tomorrow we are going to tape it up. Also, if the big toe doesn't keep bleeding she is going to come back tomorrow night and make a hole in the nail so the blood can drain. This should help with the pain she is feeling in that toe.
Please pray that the swelling continues to go down and that tomorrow when she does the procedure . .that it will help the toe to feel better and to heal quickly.
Thanks everyone!

Kathy. .. she had a very hard time walking on it the first 3 days but thankfully she was able to get around. We pulled her out of gym classes and recess this week.
