Passion for Jesus Day Two

This morning I woke to find snow flurries falling from the sky. The snow looked beautiful on the trees and bushes. I couldn't help but snap a picture or two.
I skipped this morning's session but met Lisa and Meraly afterwards at a restaurant for lunch along with Tasha and Andrea.
It tasted so good! It was so cold outside and we just wanted warm good food!

Don't ask . . . . LOL

After lunch we headed back to IHOP to attend a breakout session. Here are Andrea and Tasha messing around while we are waiting for the class. After that session on Song of Soloman Meraly, Lisa and I headed to the student lounge to relax a little bit before the evening service. We were all so excited for the service to begin. Eddie James was leading worship and Lou Engle was going to speak!

Then we decided to get a little crazy before we had to get quiet :-)

While we were waiting for the service to begin I noticed Misty Edwards out of the corner of my eye. I told Lisa this was my chance to get a picture with her. So, Andrea and I walked over to her. I introduced myself and told her that my 8 year old daughter goes to bed every night listening to her "Relentless" CD and that our 17 year old daughter choreographed a dance/drama to her song People Get Ready. I also was able to tell her that my husband and I are run a House of Prayer down where we live and that Jordan sometimes gets to play on her team when they play in the House of Prayer. She was very nice and let us take pictures with her. Oh! I also told her I am on a campaign to get her music on the radio. I think she liked that idea so I need to keep working on that.

This is her newest CD called Relentless. You can click here to here some of the songs on this CD. Let's just say this CD is totally amazing!

Andrea and Misty

I also asked Jessica to get a picture with Misty because Sierra would just be so happy to have a picture with both of them together. So, Misty was nice enough to take one more picture.
The service then began and Eddie James and his team led us in the most incredible praise and worship. The dancers he has on his team are crazy good. This week I have been able to get to know a few of them. They have been hanging over at Jordan's house this week.

Lou Engle then brought forth the word. He talked about The Call Washington DC which is taking place on August 16th, 2008. If you want to experience something incredible make plans to head to DC for The Call. Carlos, I and the kids will be going there along with a half a million people to fast and pray those twelve hours together.

After the service Jessica, Andrea, Tasha, Austin, Helen and many more came over to hangout at Jordan's. I took a shower and then came out to visit until about 1 am and then I had to call it a night. What an awesome day and I know tomorrow is going to be even better!

Emily - I haven't been spending enough time at your blog these days. Life is so busy, it's hard to get enough time on the computer.

I love reading about what all you are doing. Your hair is so LONG! Are you letting it grow? Looks beautiful. I loved it straight in these pictures and curly in the post above.

I was captivated by the Misty Edwards music. Just gorgeous! Can I get her cd from her my space? What else do you recommend?

Glad to have some time for your blog!

Hey Kathy!
I understand about not having enough computer time. I barely have enough time to blog and read email let alone read blogs right now. I am slowly getting through them though. I feel so out of touch when I can't catch up with everyone.
Anyways you can purchase Misty's CD through IHOP: http://www.ihop.org/Shop/Sections/Section.aspx?section_id=1000000173

I think her CD will be third on the list :-)

Enjoy and be blessed!
