Passion for Jesus Day Three
Today was the last day of the conference. Since I have been staying up so late hanging out with all my "other" kids each night I haven't been able to wakeup for the morning session so once again I slept in.
Jessica picked me up around noon and we went to lunch at my favorite Mexican Restaurant in KC called On The Border. We had a wonderful two lunch . . .it was great spending that time together chatting about everything.
After lunch we headed to the IHOP. Misty Edwards had one more hour to go in her set so we were excited to not have missed the whole thing. After Misty Jordan played keys for Corey Asbury's team for two hours and then played another two hours for Dana Russell's team. I wonder if his fingers are sore????
I stayed in the prayer room until about 5:00 and then went to have coffee with Meraly, Lisa and Luis. It was then time to head back over to the conference for the last session with Mike Bickle. Misty led worship again but tonight Tim Reimmer also played. He is another amazing worship leader.
After the service I ran into some of my friends from back home. Priscilla, Rachel, Ralph, Elliot and Iris and their sweet baby girl!
David played for many of the worship sets for the conference. David . . ..you did awesome on the drums . . .you ROCK!!!!
He played so much though that he now has blisters all over his hands. OUCH!!Also, your friends missed you this week. They are happy to have you back!!!
Me and cool Helen!
These guys keep me young!
Me and Stephen!
Andrea and StephenMe and my Austin! Love you!
This week I became an IHOP groupie. My husband would of probably been so embarrassed but I got pictures with some of my favorite worship leaders this time. Yesterday I was so excited to meet Misty Edwards and get a picture with her. Tonight I was totally excited to meet Tim Reimherr who is with Merchant Band and get a picture with him. I told him he needed to come to our House of Prayer sometime and lead worship! Hopefully someday he will make it down there.
This CD is amazing . It is full of the most powerful praise and worship. My friend Andrea LOVES Tim and the Merchant Band too!
I was amazed at all the young people who are part of the Fire In The Night.
As we are all sleeping they are spending their nights praying and interceeding.
They all get together once a month for a time of fellowship. Afterwards we went to the prayer room for a little bit. While I was there I ran into Lydia. She is an intern with Fire In The Night. For those of you who have read my blog since Christmas she is the one we met on an elevator at a hotel in Indianapolis while we were there. It just so happened our families new each other for years and that she was going to go to school at IHOP too. What a small world . . I wish I would of remembered to take a picture.
After the get together with the Night Watch team I went home and found house filled with some of my "other" kids.
Melany and Moises moved out on March 1st to move into an apartment. That meant all the furniture went with them because it was their's. As you can see . . .Jordan needs to get some furniture :-)
Well, tomorrow night we head home. It was a wonderful conference and I encourage everyone to attend one of IHOP's conferences and to visit their Prayer Room. They are life changing!
