Happy 3rd Birthday Selena

Selena actually turned 3 on March 7th but I was in Kansas City and was not able to celebrate with her on her actual birthday. Today the kids had the day off for Good Friday and everyone had somewhere to go except Sierra so we decided today was a great day to celebrate Selena's birthday with her.

Della had to have a procedure done this morning at the hospital so Sierra and I picked up Selena there from her grandfather Dave. Sierra was so excited to be spending the day with her.

I can't believe our sweet Selena is already three. Time goes by too fast. Our first stop was Don Pablos for lunch.
The girls colored while we waited for our food.
I got some birthday lovin from my sweet girl!
After lunch we went shopping for some birthday presents for her. We went to about three stores and found her some adorable things. Then it was off to Dollar Tree so the girls could pickup some candy to take to the movie. The girls were so excited to see Horton Hears a Who.I wasn't sure if Selena was going to make it all the way through the movie because she was so tired but surprisingly she made it through almost the whole thing.
Here she is holding her DORA lego toy that she specifically picked out.
I found some great deals on clothes for her birthday plus she really wanted the Dora toy.
We had already purchased her Easter gifts last month. I gave it to her early because I wasn't sure if we would get a chance to see her on Sunday.
What a great day we had. It was so much fun to spend the day with Selena.
Happy Birthday Selena! We love you!
This evening Carlos and dropped the kids off at youth group and Sierra off at the Children's prayer watch. We then went to see 10,000 BC. Carlos had really wanted to see this movie. It was good but not great! I can't believe I saw three movies in less then 24 hours :-)
