Christ Is Risen - He Is Risen Indeed

Happy Easter! What a wonderful day we had today celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even thought we don't emphasize chocolate, eggs and baskets . . . we do give each child an Easter basket. Jordan flys in on Friday so he will have to get his on Friday.

After church we went to lunch with Ken, Lisa and the kids and Kevin, Lisa and her mom.
Also, some of Alexia and Taylor's friends from church went out with us too.

Landon was very sleepy today. He spent the night at his friends house the other night and they stayed up very late.

This year I didn't buy new clothes for Easter so we tried to match up with the the blues.

After lunch we went to Carlos' parents for a little while to visit with his brothers, sister and our nieces and nephews. We headed home around 6:30 and then we had to hurry and get ready to meet Ken and Lisa at their house. We went to see Tyler Perry's new movie. Before we left for the movie we passed out Easter baskets to the kids.

The movie was absolutely hysterical. We laughed through most of the movie. After the movie we headed to Denny's for coffee and hot tea. What a great day we had.

Thank you Lord for dying on the cross for our sins and rising the 3rd day. What an amazing Savior you are!
