What's Wrong With This Picture?
Let's see . . . could it be the swing is not swinging ??!!:-) LOL My swing had an accident last week . . . some guys (who will remain nameless) LOL were sitting on my swing. I was up in my bathroom when I heard a huge crash. I immediately knew it was my swing. I ran downstairs to find the swing on the ground . . .thankfully noone was hurt and the swing was intact. The part that got a little "hurt were the woods beams in the roof. The one beam the screw came out of had shattered when the swing broke.
Our handy neighbore Ken M. came over to the house today and started to repair the damage. Hopefully the swing will be up and swinging tomorrow!
Tonight the older three kids had youth group. Sierra and I went to the 7-10 pm children's prayer watch. Sierra asked our Children's Director Joleen if she could teach a lesson to the kids and also do a dance. Joleen said that was fine. Here they are getting ready to start. She came with Bible verses and some great points about her subject.
Some of the kids who were there. After she spoke and did the dance Joleen opened the mic up for Rapid Fire. That is when those who want to pray get in a line and they have about 15 second to pray for the topic that was said. This is my favorite spot in the prayer room. I think I like it because it's right in front of Carlos's study area. Sierra you did a great job tonight and I was so proud of you! While I was in the prayer room Lisa called me. She had the best news . . they got a new dog! We stopped over there after we got home last night. Oh my gosh . . .she is the cutest thing.
What an adorable puppy. She is so sweet! She is going to be a perfect addition into their family.
