Start Of A New Week!

This morning after I got things picked up around the house I decided to go to the House of Prayer for a little while. I got there around 10:30 am . . .I had planned on just staying for an hour or so but ended up staying until 1:00. It still amazes me how fast the time goes by. I was able to finish all my Bible reading plus I started a new book that my friend Cecilia gave me to read.

When I got ready to leave I went into the lounge and while I was there I was looking at all the artwork on the walls and decided to take a few pictures. One of the neat things that happen in the prayer room is the arts. Sometimes the Lord will give certain things to people through a drawing. Here are a few examples of what a few have done.

I left around 1:15 . . I had to head to the SPRINT store to have my aircard checked out. When I use it . . it comes up with a screen that says it has malfuncted. They told me today that it is still under warranty but I have to go through the manufacturer so will work on that tomorrow.

I then headed home to wait for the kids to get home. Everyone arrived home except for Taylor because he had basketball until 5:30. Every Monday night is Bible School and always before class that have a two hour prayer watch. I had decided in early January that I was going to start taking the classes by correspondance for a while but I still wanted to attend the prayer watch. I also thought it would be great if all the kids attended that prayer watch too since Carlos, Alexia and I do . . .that way we could all attend at least one prayer watch as a family . .. so that is what we did and will do at least through May. We picked up Taylor at 5:30 and then headed to the prayer room. When we got there Sierra asked if she could sing again this week . . .Christina said sure so they got her a microphone and a stool and she was ready to go.

Christina has an awesome voice and does great on the guitar. Good job tonight Tina!
And here is our little worshipper :-)
Edwin and Levi . . .jammin for the Lord.
Tonight I received my lessons for January for the Bible School. I fell behind a little bit this past month so I am going to work very hard to get caught up by the end of February. I am really enjoying the Bible School and I am learning a ton of things!
Some of you have asked if the House of Prayer is only for our church members. . .the answer to that is no. It is part of our Missions Base but the House of Prayer is open to any believer that want to come there and study, pray and/or worship. We had a great time as a family being in the prayer room and I look forward to doing that again next week.
