She Always Brings A Smile To My Face

After spending one and a half hours in our prayer room this morning I spent the rest of the day with my sweet Selena! This is the first time I have had a chance to see her since December. She made me smile all day with the little things she said and did.Since I didn't get to see her on Valentine's Day I gave her the gifts we had for her today.
Then she wanted to play and hold Molly.
We then headed to Chick Fil A for lunch. Throughout the day she would say, "Aunt Emmy, I love you!" Then a few little later she would say, "Aunt Emmy, you're my best friend." The one that got me the most was, "Aunt Emmy, I am happy." I asked her why. She said, "because I am with you." Wow . . . .talk about melting a heart.
After lunch we went to the bank, Wal-mart and Ace Hardware to get some propane for our fireplace. There is a cold front coming in tonight and I knew we would want the fireplace this evening.

After we got back home we walked back to the pasture to feed the horses. Selena was surprised to see the Farley in our backyard and not over at the barn where he had been.
She helped me with the water.
My neighbor's dog Marley came over for a visit and a drink too. We also had fun taking some fun pictures too.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh . . .it doesn't get much better than this!

Selena . . . . where are you?
There you are!Sierra arrived home from school and she was so happy to see her cousin.
And Selena was happy to see Sierra too.
Alexia got in some hugs too.
We then went outside to hookup the propane tanks. What a good helper she is!
Taylor had a basketball game late this afternoon so we took Selena home and then headed to the game. Taylor did GREAT! His team was so far ahead by half time the coach took out the starters and let the other team members get in some playing time.Great job Tay! They are now 2-1.

After the came we came home and I made Chicken Enchilada's and then we watched American Idol. It's getting very cold outside but inside it's warm and cozy.
