Perfect Day For A Ride
Today my friend Angela and her daughter Bailey went horseback riding with me. The weather was absolutely gorgeous . . the temps were hovering right around 80 degrees with blue skies.
I am so thankful that Lord has allowed us to lease the pasture behind our house. It has been a total blessing not only for me and Farley but Angela and their horses too. We got our horses tacked up and we were ready to go.
Our friends own a Strawberry/Christmas Tree Farm. He allows us to ride on his land.
The strawberries are plentiful this year. Here in Florida strawberries are in season from January to about April.
At this farm you pick or they will pick for you.
In the back part of his farm is where the Christmas trees grow.

People come in December and pick their tree and chop it down or they will chop it down for you. We are blessed to have this beautiful farm so close to us.
We then left the farm and continued our ride.
We are blessed to have a lot of acreage around us. The sad thing is it is suppose to be developed this year. I guess this means we need to buy a horse trailer.
We had a great ride and I am so thankful for good friends, a good horse and a wonderful place to live!

The rest of the family kept busy too. Carlos went to the prayer room for six hours to study and pray for tomorrows service. Taylor and Landon each went to a friends house. Alexia went to pray with the Bound 4 Life group at an abortion clinic and Sierra was at a birthday party most of the day. We are now at home relaxing and getting ready to call it a day!

1. GORGEOUS day!
2. Hey! We've had Florida strawberries twice this year so far! This is unusual for US, because we're used to California strawberries in June!
3. A Christmas tree farm in Florida? Well, I learn something new every day, lol!
What a beautiful place for a ride! My daughter loves to ride trails, but we don't have any on our property. :( Oh...I just figured out who your friend Brenda is...I need to buy one of those Air Climbers! lol She's beautiful.
Emily!
Woohoo...I can get into your blog. I do not know why, but I have the worst time viewing your blog. Now that you are on the SHS ring, it seems to be working for me!
Anyway...looks like a great day of riding.
What an awesome day!
The strawberry field looks beautiful and summery.
Looks like it was a fun horse ride.
