The Lord Comes Through Again!

This morning after the kids got off to school Carlos and I had our day pretty much planned out. We were both headed up to the church. He was going to get in some time in the prayer room and then meet with a praise and worship leader friend of his for lunch. I was also meeting my friend Sherri at the prayer room at 10:30 and then we were to have lunch around 12:00.

Before we left Carlos received a phone call from Delta Airlines saying that they found his black American Tourister Backpack. We were so excited we started high fiving each other. I called my friend Sherri and told her what was going on. She said she would still head up to the prayer room and she would wait for me until I got back.

So we were off to the airport.

When we arrived he jumped out of the car and headed toward the lost and found. I had to circle the airport one time while he was inside because they don't let you just sit there and wait because of security.
As I came back around I saw him standing there with his backpack. We were both so happy and thankful that the Lord heard our prayers. Also, we want to thank all of you who prayed for the return of his backback. He was so thankful to get back his Bible that he has had forever, also a Bible that Benny Hinn gave him while he was on staff at this church for 10 years and another study Bible. Plus, he had tons of notes and other things that he had in there. There was also $40.00 that was still there that had been in an envelope that was untouched.

Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers and for finding the backpack for us!

We headed back to the prayer room where I was able to get in about an hour before it was time to head for lunch with Sherri. We ended up going to our friends restaurant and had wonderful Greek salads with Garlic Knots rolls. Yum yum! We had a great time catching up and sharing with each other all the incredible things that the Lord is doing in each others lives!
On the way home to pick up the kids I stopped at Home Depot to check out a wood floor sample. I am getting an estimate to put wood stairs in instead of the carpeted stairs.

Well, I need to make a quick dinner and then get the kids up to youth and the children's prayer watch.
