Internet Update and Molly's Playdate
Well, today is Wednesday and we still do not have internet at the house. This morning I dropped off Molly at the groomers and then headed to the House of Prayer. I am taking a 15 minute break to catch you all up.
Yesterday I stayed home ALL DAY waiting for Comcast to arrive. I waited and waited and waited but it was a no show. I did get all our laundry caught up and cleaned the whole downstairs so it wasn't a total lost.
After school Lisa stopped by and invited Molly to go on a "playdate" with Coco :-) She accepted and we all headed to the park.
Ok . . Sierra looks like a giant in this picture but she is standing on a seat which makes her look like she is towering over the kids LOL See above picture to see the red seat she was standing on in this picture :-)
The Amazing Ava who so reminds me of Sierra at this age . . . she is a riot!
We were able to get in a good hour at the park and then it was off to McDonalds for ice cream sundaes and apple pies . . yum!
When we got home I made a quick dinner and had everyone take baths and showers. I then had to leave because I was starting a 12 course at our House of Prayer called Prayer Apprenticeship. It is every Tuesday night for 12 weeks. Here is the course description:
Right understanding of the will of God is critical for the life of every believer and more so as we approach the end times. Paul prayed for the Colossians that they would be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. This training is designed to equip you in spiritual wisdom in the context of scripture based prayer & worship. Whether your desire is to become a prayer watch leader, worship leader in the prayer room or you are just seeking more of God, this training is for you.
Sessions include scripture based teachings, personal intense training and activation in various areas of prayer room ministry. Weekly, students will meet from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM for :
Weekly harp and bowl training
Teaching on personal and corporate prayer
Enjoyable Bible study
Weekly activation watch
I was so excited to begin. I got out of the house a few minutes late and on the way there a horrible storm came in. I was almost to the House of Prayer when Carlos called and said the power went out and they had to cancel the class. Bummer . . .
Carlos was on his way to meet with some new friends of our who are visiting from Wisconsin and John and Brenda so I headed over the Mexcian Restaurant and had a quick bite to eat and then headed home to be with the kids because the weather was calling for fierce storms all night.
Today after school we have a busy afternoon . . .Alexia, Landon and Sierra have dental appts and then this evening Taylor has a basketball game. Thank goodness we have DVR so we can tape American Idol . . .love that show!
Comcast is suppose to be at our house on Friday so I will try to update the blog tomorrow at the House of Prayer . . if not see you on Friday!

Emily,
What is harp and bowl training?
What is Harp & Bowl
"Harp & Bowl" intercessory worship is taken from Revelation 5:8 where, in heaven before the Father's throne, the 24 elders come with a Harp (speaks of worship with music) and a Bowl ( speaks of the prayers of the saints - intercession).
The goal of harp & bowl intercessory worship is to come together with other congregations in our area for day and night prayer and worship before the throne of God for the ultimate purpose of changing the spiritual atmosphere. As the spiritual atmosphere changes and as God's glory is displayed through us, God will bring the multitudes into His Kingdom. Harp & Bowl is about ministering to the Lord and falling in love with Him. Then, as we cry out the prayers of His heart, He responds out of a passion and fervency for us, His Bride.
The Holy Spirit is orchestrating a prayer strategy far eclipsing any other prayer movement in the History of our country and the world. This prayer movement will result in an unprecedented Harvest of souls. Our local prayer house is moving towards continual prayer meetings non-stop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We currently have over 100 hours of weekly prayer.
And when He had taken the book , the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a Harp, and golden Bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. Rev 5:8
I love it that your dog had a playdate, too cute!
