Happy Valentine's Day Part 2
The second half of today was a wild one. I went to the prayer room for an hour and a half today. After that I went to Marshalls because one of the items I had bought for Alexia still had the security tag on it. Then it was off to Best Buy to have something checked on my laptop.
Around 2:30 I headed home. As I was passing by Lisa and Ken's house I was shocked to see 3 police cars sitting in their front yard. I called Ken to find out what was going on. He was at work and had no idea so I turned around and headed back to the house. When I pulled into their driveway I could tell right away they had been robbed. The police were dusting for fingerprints on both doors. The good news is that Lisa and the kids were not home when it happened but the bad news is their brand new 62 inch flat screen TV, Lisa's laptop and Ken's XBOX 360 were stolen. A few minutes later Ken's dad arrived and we both went through the house with the police to see if anything else was taken. Ken and Lisa both arrived about 25 minutes later. I ended up taking Kaitlyn over to Ken's parents house so she wouldn't get scared about the whole robbery. I came back to their house and we all agreeded that it could have been a lot worse. Everyone was thankful no one was hurt and all the things that were stolen can be replaced.
I went home and grabbed their kids Valentine's presents and headed over to Ken's parents house to deliver them to the kids.
