A Crazy But Exciting Day!

This morning I received a call from Carlos saying he wokeup to a blizzard in Canada where he was speaking. I couldn't believe it . . . he said that there was a chance he might not make it home tonight. I sent out a church wide prayer request asking them to please pray that his plane make it out. If he wouldn't make that flight he would miss The Call Orlando tomorrow and possibly our House of Prayer building dedication with Mike Bickle on Sunday.

I didn't hear anything all day . . I just kind of figured he wasn't going to make it home. I went ahead and started finishing things us for Jordan and his crews arrival. Finally around 7:30 tonight I received a text message from Carlos saying he was landing in 20 minutes . . . .what????? I couldn't believe it and what was he doing texting on his phone while still in the air?????? I then jumped in the car and headed towards the airport. He called me once he was off the plane and said somehow by the grace of God that airplane lifted off. (Thank you Lord)

We had about an hour and a half before the kids started arriving on later flights so we went to Friday's to grab a bite to eat. Around 9:30 we received a phone call from Jordan saying that they had landed. So, it was back to the airport. The group of nine came in on 3 different flights. 3 of them came in around 5:00 ish and Alexia picked them up . . We them picked up the next four.

Tess, Austin, Jessica and Jordan (Yes, Jordan is taller than Jess but he was standing off the curb)

As you can see we were so excited that Jessica was able to make this trip too! The last two flying in were to arrive around 11:00 and Alexia would be heading back to the airport to get Adam and Candace.
David, Tasha and Helen were the first to arrive. Since they arrived early they went to our youth group with Alexia and Taylor.Sierra was soooooooo excited to see Jessica . . . she barely left her side all night.
We also had six coming in by car. They all arrived safely.

5 of this group will be staying at Ken and Lisa's . .. thanks guys for opening your home too. We love you guys so much!

Joseph and his little sister!

The two arrived home safely . . .Adam, Candace and AlexiaDavid and Jordan jamming on the piano. I got a great video of the whole group singing . . I just have to remember how to upload the video.
Sierra looks tired . . .
We have a big day tomorrow. The Call Orlando starts at 10 am so I better get some sleep! I will post pictures tomorrow night!
To all the young people who arrived tonight . . .we are so excited to have you here. We hope your stay with us is memorable and fun! Jordan we love you and we love your friends . . . what a great group of kids who are radically on fire for the Lord.
