Working Things Out
Since bringing Farley over to the pasture behind our home we have only one into one tiny quirk. One of the other horses eats very fast and then wants everyone elses feed too :-) LOL
So, the last few days we have been trying different things to see if we can keep everyone eating out of their own bowl.
Today was the best day so far. We decided to put Diablo in the paddock and let him eat there for a few days. Bullet and Farley did great . . .we put there feed bowls apart and they pretty much stayed to themselves. In this picture you can see Farley on the left and Bullet on the right under the tree.
Jeter is enjoying the warm winter sun. He is in heaven back here on the pasture.
Today Molly followed us to the back. This was the first time she ventured to the back acres. She didn't relax like Jeter . .. she didn't like it that I was on the other side of the gate :-)"Nothing like the wind blowing through you hair!" :-)
Farley enjoying his meal. It worked out so good today! Bullet only came up a few times but with a little encouraging he went back to his own hay pile.
Next week we are going to try feeding all three in a row and see if Diablo will stay at his own spot.

Is this the pasture that is your neighbor's that you were trying to buy or is this your pasture that you just moved them to?
